What you will leave with

  • A scoped engagement map Convert letter terms into named procedures inside the app.
  • Linked risk notes Attach inherent and control risk comments to the modules reviewers open later.
  • A fieldwork pack Export a planning file with owners, due dates, and evidence asks that match week-one tasks.
  • Reviewer prompts Use a short challenge list so managers leave precise comments instead of rewriting sections.

Modules

Eight steps from acceptance to pack release.

Module 01

Engagement acceptance inside the workflow

Capture independence notes, team roles, and calendar constraints before any risk work begins.

Module 02

Scope language that maps to procedures

Rewrite vague letter clauses into app fields juniors can follow without guessing intent.

Module 03

Risk register design

Build inherent risk entries that point to specific workflow modules rather than orphaned memos.

Module 04

Materiality and thresholds in the plan

Document quantitative and qualitative thresholds where reviewers expect to find them.

Module 05

Evidence request sequencing

Time client asks so fieldwork week one is not idle waiting for schedules.

Module 06

Multi-site ownership

Assign component owners and visibility rules when entities share systems.

Module 07

Manager challenge pass

Run a structured review of the pack using the in-app comment tools.

Module 08

Release and handover

Freeze the planning version and brief the fieldwork team from the same source of truth.

Learner notes

The risk-to-module linking exercise in module 03 is what finally stopped our orphaned Excel risk lists.

★★★★☆

Solid on workflow discipline. I wish module 06 had a longer example for charities with many small branches—still usable, just thinner than the corporate case.

FAQ

Do I need the same audit planning workflow app as the demos?

No. Exercises use a generic screen pattern. You will adapt field names to your firm’s tool. The limitation is real: if your app cannot attach risks to procedures, you will need a workaround sheet—and we show where that friction appears.

Is this suitable for juniors?

It is written for seniors and managers who own planning. Juniors can audit the pack later, but enrolment assumes you already draft planning memos.

How long do I keep access?

Course materials remain available for twelve months from enrolment. Live office hours run monthly for active cohorts.

Can we train a whole office?

Yes. Cohort pricing and shared review templates are arranged through the contact form—there is no self-serve checkout.
